POWELL, OH (WCMH)– Nora the baby polar bear made her public debut this morning.
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium has announced that people will be able to see Nora at the Polar Bear habitat at the Polar Frontier, starting at 9:30am Friday. She will be in the habitat every day thereafter for about one hour each day.
Viewing times will be based on her health and well-being and they will be expanded as Nora gets bigger and stronger.
She now weighs about 50 pounds and has been reaching many milestones in development throughout her short life, according to zoo members.
Nora was born November 6 in the Polar Frontier region of the Columbus Zoo.
