Water main break forces Kenton restaurants to close

KENTON, OH (WCMH) — Restaurants in the city of Kenton are being ordered to close until further notice following the discovery of a water main break.

The Kenton-Hardin Health Department is also encouraging citizens to use bottled/gallon water for sanitation and cooking as well.


Stores open in the area include grocery stores, pharmacies and gas stations. Gas stations are not allowed to serve hot food or fountain pop.

There is no estimated time for repairs. Once water returns, the Kenton-Hardin Health Department is requiring restaurants and residents to follow boil advisory protocols until further notice.What others are clicking on:
