HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (WCMH) — When a bride-to-be found out her mother may only have days to live, she was able to plan a wedding in just two days, with a little help.

Erica Myers desperately wanted her mother to be there for her wedding. Her mother was suffering from cancer, and Myers recently learned she may only have a matter of days left.

Wedding photographers Andy and Abigal Lydick shifted the planning process into high gear. They reached out to their industry contacts and helped pull a ceremony together in just two days.

The Lydicks were able to arrange a makeup artist, minister, flowers, food and a limo. After it was all arranged, the Lydicks took their place as wedding photographers.

WPVI-TV reported all of the services were donated free of charge.

“It meant everything to me,” Erica Meyers told WPVI. “I didn’t want to get married and not have her be there.  She was so happy for me and I was so happy that she was able to be there for me.”

Erica’s mother did indeed get to attend the ceremony. What others are clicking on:
