COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A major intersection is back open after an overnight crash closed a portion of Interstate 70 for several hours.
The crash happened on I-70 eastbound at Livingston Avenue around 1:43 p.m.
Columbus police said Tykeish Hay, 23, was driving her Toyota Corolla eastbound when her vehicle struck the concrete median wall. She was partially ejected from the car after the impact. Her vehicle “veered towards the right back across all the eastbound lanes of I-70,” left the right side of the roadway, and struck a guardrail before coming to rest on the shoulder of the roadway.
