RICHMOND, VA (WCMH)– After being attacked while running, the Virginia woman decided to design a bra that will hold pepper spray and knife for protection.

According to WTVR, Jennifer Cutrona was training for a marathon last April when a man jumped out and assaulted her.

The very next day, she sewed a sheath for a knife into her sports bra.

She has patented the self-defense bra she calls “Booby Trap Bras.”

“It had to happen for me to move forward,” Cutrona told WTVR. “I was excited that I got away, but I know a lot of women aren’t that lucky.”

The bra is also designed for activity and comes in two designs. You can buy the “Just in Case Knife Bra” for $54.99 (knife sold separately), and for $49.99 you can get the “Just in Case Pepper Spray Bra” which features a pepper spray that has a blue dye added to it so police can easily track the suspect.
