Woman drives car into boyfriend, charged with attempted murder

CHESAPEAKE, VA (WAVY) – A Virginia woman is facing charges after she allegedly ran into her boyfriend with a car.

Katrina Thomas was charged with attempted first-degree murder and is currently being held at Chesapeake City Jail.


Kelly O’Sullivan with Chesapeake Police tells WAVY-TV that Thomas, 27, ran a car into her 26-year-old boyfriend and then into a building in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 30.

Police received a call about the incident from a Waffle House in the 4800 block of Portsmouth Boulevard at 3 a.m.

Thomas’ boyfriend was taken to the hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.

She is also facing DUI, malicious assault and property damage charges.What others are clicking on:
