COLUMBUS (WCMH)–A woman accused of being the getaway driver in a double-fatal shooting pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in court on Tuesday.
Mia V. Shamis was charged with the crime after two people were shot and killed at an Enterprise Rent-a-Car on Tussing Road in April.

She was originally charged with murder.
Police say Shamis and Connor Jeffries met 20-year-old Gary Ashton Francis and 21-year-old James Earl Miller Jr. behind the Enterprise Rent-A-Car store for a drug deal on April 5.
Shamis is accused of driving away, fleeing the scene with the suspected shooter.
Jeffries is currently charged with murder out of the crime. He has not been arraigned in Franklin Co Court of Common Pleas yet.
Shamis will be sentenced on August 24. The maximum sentence she can receive is 14 years in prison. What others are clicking on:
