COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH)–The Columbus Division of Police say a woman who allegedly stole a $4,000 dog from a pet store has turned herself in.
Police say 22-year-old Marshone Jackson walked into the Petland on Bethel Road in November. She allegedly entered the visiting area with an English Bulldog puppy, then put the puppy in her purse and took off.
A month later, the puppy was given to a random person leaving the nearby Wal-Mart who was told to take it to Petland.
The person returned the puppy to the store.
