PANOLA CO., TX (WCMH) — A photo captured on a Texas deputy’s body camera shows the true power of mother nature.

The Panola County Texas Sheriff’s Office posted the photo showing the exact moment a lightning bolt struck the ground just a few hundred yards away from where the deputy was standing.

“This image was captured by one of our officer’s body camera while assisting a motorist during a recent storm,” the Facebook post read.

The deputy wasn’t hurt. Neither was the motorist he was assisting.
