COLUMBUS (WCMH)– Columbus Police say a wrong-way driver was involved in a crash on I-71 northbound near 17th Avenue early Wednesday morning.

The crash happened just after 2:30am.

The highway was shut down at the scene of the crash, but officials have since reopened it.

Police say the driver of the wrong-way vehicle was uninjured and arrested at the scene. One person from the other car was taken to Grant Medical Center in stable condition.
