WHEELING, WV (WCMH) — Last night, the WWE held its latest episode of Raw down in Cincinnati, but one of wrestling’s biggest superstars was in nearby West Virginia… signing.
John Cena, the 15-time world champion, took part in an untelevised house show in Wheeling, West Virginia. He lost his match to WWE World Champion A.J. Styles, who used a low blow to pin Cena in a triple threat match.
But seconds later, Cena got his revenge, leveling Styles. He then decided to show off his great singing voice while Styles lay motionless.
His song of choice? West Virginia’s unofficial state song, John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” The crowd quickly joined in.
Cena is no stranger to music. He released a rap and hip hop album titled “You Can’t See ME” back in 2005.
