COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Six central Ohio athletes made the top of the podium while Olentangy Orange and Bishop Watterson took home team titles as the OHSAA state wrestling meet concluded Sunday at the Schottenstein Center.

Dublin Coffman’s Loc Webber won by technical fall over Lorain’s D.J. Otero in the Division I 106-pound final to earn central Ohio’s first state title of the evening.

Bishop Watterson added to the region’s haul when senior Mitchell Younger won the Division II 144-pound title over Steubenville’s Cooper Smith. Younger’s first-period takedown gave him an early edge en route to his third career title and first since 2023.

His teammate, Michael Boyle, won his second consecutive championship after the sophomore defeated Hoban’s Brayton Feister in the 215-pound final with a narrow 2-1 decision. Boyle’s title comes after moving up from the 165-pound weight class a year ago.

The two championships, along with two state runner-up finishes, helped the Eagles win the Division II team title for the first time in program history, adding to the school’s football state victory back in December.

Gahanna Lincoln’s Kylee Tibbs won a back-and-forth affair in the girls’ 140-pound final. She used a late takedown in the third period against Greeneview’s Lily Hendricks to secure her first state title and finish the season with a perfect record.

Moments later, Pickerington North’s Reagan Knapp made her own school history when she captured gold in the girls’ 145-pound final. The senior only needed 63 seconds to pin Greeneview’s Eve Matt to win the program’s first title.

Orange won the girls’ team title for the second year in a row.
