COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Columbus Crew will play one of its biggest 2025 MLS regular season games at an NFL stadium.

Crew is set to play Inter Miami, led by Lionel Messi, at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland on April 19 at 4:30 p.m. The Browns’ stadium seats 67,000 and both teams are owned by the Haslam Sports Group. This will mark the first time the Black & Gold are considered hosts for a game at a football stadium since the early days of the club playing at Ohio Stadium.

Tickets will be available to the public on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. ET. A pre-sale will take place on Jan. 13 at 3 p.m. Follow this link for more ticket information. The club said a standard allotment of season tickets will be given to Crew season ticket holders. Season ticket holders will also have a one-week window from Jan. 6-12 to upgrade, relocate, or add discounted tickets.

The mid-April contest pits two of the top clubs in the league that have combined to win four trophies over the past two seasons. The Crew enter as the reigning Leagues Cup winners and sit at the top of the CONCACAF coefficient rankings. Miami claimed its first trophy in 2023 with the Leagues Cup and won the Supporters’ Shield last season with the best regular-season points total.

Columbus is set to be led by head coach Wilfried Nancy along with MLS MVP candidate Cucho Hernandez, four-time MLS Cup winner Darlington Nagbe, and reigning MLS defender of the year Steven Moreira. Messi will once again team up with Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba with the Herons and be coached by ex-teammate with Barcelona and Argentina Javier Mascherano.

Columbus and Miami played three times last season. After losing 2-1 in June in Miami, the Crew won at Lower.com Field with a comeback win in the Leagues Cup knockouts in August. Miami got revenge on Oct. 2 in Columbus with a 3-2 win, spearheaded by a Messi brace.

The full 2025 MLS regular season schedule is set to be announced later in December.
