COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — After three seasons with the Black and Gold, Kevin Molino is headed in a different direction after the club says it has mutually agreed to terminate the midfielder’s contract.
“I would like to thank Kevin for his contributions to the Crew over the past three seasons. He is a talented and solid professional who brought good, positive energy to the team, on and off the field,” Crew President and General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko said. “After speaking with Kevin, we have agreed to allow him to pursue other opportunities. It’s been a pleasure to work with him, including winning an MLS title last season, and we wish him all the best in the future.”
Molino joined the Crew as a free agent in 2021 and appeared in 31 regular season games, starting in 11 of them. He scored two goals and provided two assists. During the postseason, Molino played in five games, providing two assists.
