The Steelers lost 33–31 to the Bengals on Thursday Night Football to begin Week 7. It was an old school quarterback battle between Joe Flacco and Aaron Rodgers with the new Cincinnati quarterback coming out on top thanks to a near-perfect performance by Ja'Marr Chase.

Aaron Rodgers also played pretty well, throwing for 249 yards and four touchdown passes. Down six points late in the fourth quarter, Rodgers threw a go-ahead 68-yard touchdown pass to tight end Pat Freiermuth. The veteran quarterback was so happy with the play that he broke out his joyous Mario celebration.

Unfortunately, that joy was short-lived. Pittsburgh tackle Broderick Jones accidentally took Rodgers down while trying to celebrate with him. The quarterback was not happy.

Rodgers got up and appeared to be yelling as he shoved Jones away.

The Bengals did not sack Rodgers at all in the game and were only able to register two QB hits, so this was probably the hardest that the 41-year old took all night.

The fact the Bengals then marched right down the field and kicked a game-winning field goal probably didn't help anyone feel better about how the celebration ended. The Steelers are now 4-2, while the Bengals are 3-4 and right back in the AFC North with two very winnable games coming up before their bye.
