Carlie Boos with the Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio said the tariffs will likely result in a $9,000 increase in the sale price of a home, or about $80 a month more on a mortgage. With materials to build housing jumping in price, local housing developers said there may be a decline in builds, something central Ohio is already behind on.
