FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Good Monday Evening,

After a cooler than normal, but bright day for Memorial Day, we are going to see clouds increasing overnight tonight, with lows dropping to near normal in the middle 50s. Tuesday rain showers will move in from the southwest as a system nudges its way up into our area. Highs will be much cooler on Tuesday only in the middle to upper 60s.

Wednesday, the system will continue to slowly move east, with rain showers scattered around and highs back into the upper 60s. As the low departs, we will see some drier air Wednesday night into Thursday, with mixed clouds on Thursday and highs still below normal in the lower 70s.

The upper level pattern will be one which we are familiar with late week, with a broad upper low spinning spokes of energy down into our area. This will keep more clouds than sun around for the end of the week and into the weekend. This will give us some isolated rain chances for Friday, Saturday, and very isolated into Sunday as the low begins to depart. Highs will be in the lower 70s Friday and Saturday, and upper 70s with more sunshine and drier air Sunday.

Monday of next week should be more summer-like, with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies, and highs in the lower 80s.
