COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A company focused on tracking patient medications is opening a new office in Columbus in an expansion promising to bring new jobs to the city.
In a news release, Intelliguard announced its new office will be located at 8415 Pulsar Place, near Polaris Parkway. The company said this workplace will improve interactions with clients in North America.
“As we looked to expand our corporate footprint, the strong economy, skilled workforce, and diversified industries all pointed to Columbus,” said Tim Tinnel, Intelliguard’s executive vice president and COO. “Columbus has the engineering, software development, finance, human resources, marketing, product management, and other skilled workforce necessary to support our rapid growth.”
Described as “medication management,” the organization provides enhanced safety “from supplier to patient” involving prescriptions.
The healthcare-related business noted that the office design reflects its “company culture,” highlighting quiet work areas with standing desks, large gathering areas for staff, a wellness room and a “speakeasy-inspired space for entertaining.”
The company hosted a grand opening on Tuesday, April 1, starting at 11:30 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony taking place at noon.
