INDIANAPOLIS (WCMH)–Former Ohio State University linebacker Darron Lee said he is focusing on speed at the NFL Combine.
“Linebackers are changing,” he said. “The game’s getting faster and you’re going to need a lot of guys to cover. We’re starting to see that change this year in the league.”
Lee will work out Sunday and hope to turn in a workout that will lift him into the first round–a place he says he belongs.
Friday was NBC4’s first chance to talk to former OSU defensive tackle Adolphus Washington since his citation last year for solicitation.
His case is officially settled, but this is the first time he has spoken to reporters about his suspension for the Fiesta Bowl and a disappointing finish to his OSU career.
Washington says he has already discussed what happened with several NFL teams. He is still projected as an early round draft pick, but he says he still has to earn back some trust.
